FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR PHOTO SHOOT

WHERE DO WE SHOOT?

We can shoot either in our studio or on location.  Some of our clients select the shooting location.  Other clients prefer a studio setting.  Each client is unique and the photographs should reflect the individuality of our clients.  Take a look at our studio photos.  If you prefer something else, we can shoot in a home, apartment or hotel room.  From these locations, we can move to nearby outdoor locations if you are comfortable with outdoor shots.  Of course, we are happy to work with you in selecting locations.

WHAT CLOTHING SHOULD I BRING TO MY SHOOT?

It is impossible for us to have all the sizes of clothing and shoes needed for all the women we shoot, and because, we prefer to create unique art images for each client, we ask our clients to bring their own clothing and accessory items for the shoot.   Do not over think what you will bring.  Just bring us a lot of options so we can help you figure out the outfits together.

Younger clients may prefer very simple outfits.  A plain baby tee or tank top paired with a thong looks extremely sexy on a younger client.  Tailored shirts and tight jeans also look great on younger clients.  Older clients may want more elaborate outfits, such as lingerie, corsets, thin scarfs or drapes or boas.

Usually color and textured material photograph much better than plain black and white material.  If you really want to be photographed in black or white, make sure it is sheer, shiny, or has a lot of texture.  Bring lots of extra bras, panties and thongs to pair with other items.

Please bring jewelry. Dramatic, bold pieces look great. But so can pretty, dainty pieces with the right outfit.  Finally, do not forget about shoes.  We prefer heels - they make your legs look great.

If you need some help "coming out of your shell," we can provide a female model to go shopping with you to assist you with buying clothes for your shoot.

WHAT CLOTHING SHOULD I AVOID?

We prefer that you not bring anything that has large solid flat areas of black, white, or red.  If you prefer these colors, please make sure that the garments are small or heavily textured.

DO I NEED TO WORRY ABOUT MAKEUP?

We work with female make up artists and strongly suggest that you let them glamorize you.  They are professionals and know what looks best for the camera.  However, a make up artist is optional.

WHAT ABOUT HAIR?

Normally we suggest that you make a hair appointment with your stylist the day of your shoot and come with your hair ready for the shoot.  However, we can also provide a hair stylist if you wish and perform a complete makeover for you.

HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?

Each session is unique. Consequently, our pricing depends on the particular circumstances of each shoot (such as studio setup and lighting, location, assistants required, etc.) Generally, we charge $250 for a 2 hour studio shoot.  We strongly recommend the services of a makeup artist.  We work with makeup artists who are also models and they can greatly assist you with your posing.   An initial look with a makeup artist is an additional $75.  However, we strongly believe that a makeup artist should stay for the entire shoot to assist with makeup throughout the shoot and to assist with modeling.  Two hours with a makeup artist is $150.  So, some of our packages for a studio shoot is:

Basic Studio Shoot (no makeup) - $250

Studio Shoot (with initial makeup) - $325

Studio Shoot (with makeup and modeling assistance) - $400

Certain models may receive significant discounts if we can use their images in our current portfolio projects.  Fees for location shots are determined on a case by case basis.  Additionally, on Thursday nights we are running a Thursday night sale.  Our basic STUDIO packages for Thursday nights are:

Basic Studio Shoot (no makeup) - $125

Studio Shoot (with initial makeup) - $200

Studio Shoot (with makeup and modeling assistance) - $275

Feel free to contact us to discuss the specific details of your shoot and for cost information. We can work within almost any budget and look forward to hearing from you.

HOW DO WE BEGIN THE PROCESS?

Depending on the complexity of the shoot and the makeover, we suggest meeting before your shoot to work out the details and budget.  During the initial meeting, we can decide the location, the amount of time needed from the makeup artist, and the amount of "makeover" required.  We want you to be comfortable, but most of our clients prefer being coaxed a little out of their comfort zone.

IS A DEPOSIT REQUIRED?

Yes, because we work with make up artists and others professionals who must be paid regardless of the shoot, a 50 percent deposit is due upon booking your appointment and is non-refundable.  Paypal is accepted.
